Just Rewards Dog Training delivers dog behaviour consults, one to one training and various classes in Kirkby Lonsdale, near Kendal and the Lancashire / North Yorkshire and Cumbria borders.
Without regulation in the dog training industry, it is hard to know who to trust when choosing a trainer. Being a member of The APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers), means I have been vigarously assessed and approved as a trainer. I am recommended on their website (www.apdt.co.uk) and adhere to their ethos of kind, fair and effective training.
I have many years of hands-on experience with dogs and regularly attend training courses and seminars to keep up with the latest and most advanced aspects of canine behaviour and training, thereby acquiring new knowledge and practice.
Aside from dog training consultations and classes, I give regular presentations and advice on dog behaviour and body language to new Pet Care franchisees and their employees at the Barking Mad Head Office.
My practice is situated in Hutton Roof, Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria.
I had the honour of training with the late Debbie Hodgkiss from Best Behaviour and Training, who sadly passed away in September 2014. She had over 20 years dog training and behaviour experience and trained with the British Veterinary Nursing Association and the Northern Canine Behaviour Centre. Debbie also worked with the Dogs Trust and was a qualified Animal Bach Practitioner, which helped many traumatised rescue dogs. She was a very respected trainer and great friend, who will never be forgotten.
